A few weeks ago you’ll have noticed the appearance – on the sabo.it and rnb.it websites – of a new link: Online purchases. This is a major new development as it allows users to order Sabo shock absorbers and air springs directly online via a simple, user-friendly process. The service is reserved for Italian agents and customers: for the moment at least, this service will be unavailable outside Italy.
“We’ve thought long and hard about launching this online procedure” explains Massimo Nuti, general manager of the Roberto Nuti Group, “and we expect to gain much in terms of time savings and simplification of the procedures. We’re taking this step by step: we started off with the Italian agents and a few days ago expanded the system to include customers. Now we’ll be monitoring carefully to assess performance. Later on, as we gain experience, we’ll evaluate whether or not to open the platform to foreign markets”.

To access the website’s online order placement section you’ll need your personal access credentials.
Once you’ve logged in, the following screen appears. Agents can look up customers by code (a 4-digit customer ID) or by company name or name-surname.
The shopping cart page is divided into 6 parts:
1) The section at the top showing the order reference (in the case of a just-created order this will read “New Order”) and some customer-related terms: payment, delivery method (port) and the customer’s email address to which order confirmation will be sent. This email address can be modified as required.
2) The notes section. The first notes, called “Order Notes” are also entered in the order confirmation sent to the customer; the second ones (only to be used and seen by the agents) are, instead, used for the purposes of communication between the agent and Roberto Nuti and do not appear in the order confirmation print out.
3) The article search section.
4) The key to load a file containing the order lines.
5) The link to consult this manual online.
6) The section containing the shopping cart lines indicating ordered items.
It’s possible to search for items by keying in the code or typing in a partial/whole description.
Pressing the “Search in Nuti” key gives the user a list of articles corresponding to the search requisites.
Pressing the “Search for OEM or Others” key triggers a search for OEM or alternative items on the basis of the entered code.
To ensure the search is done successfully it’s necessary to enter the exact code you’re looking for without any spaces, bars, slashes, dots or other symbols.
The portal shows a list of Roberto Nuti products compatible with the executed search on a screen similar to that containing standard search results.
