The Sabo Academy is continuing to publish its series of videos on production processes and checks relating to Sabo shock absorbers.

In the first video of this new season Andrea Pelaia, a designer at Sabo, will be showing us how certain parts are welded together. More specifically, he’ll be focussing on a description of the two equipment items used to do the welding: the robotized welding unit and the electrical spot welder.

The second video shows us a special type of test, called “Square Wave”, invented by the Sabo technical office to check that the proper shock absorber construction protocols have been observed.

The third video illustrates the Sabo painting plant, in the main production facility at Castel Guelfo (Bologna), giving us a “behind the scenes” look at this procedure. This is also where the Sabo Rosa is made: the latter is a prize awarded, every 8th March, to the “female lorry driver of the year”.

In the fourth video we witness the unboxing of a shock absorber, allowing us to see just how much care and attention goes into packaging the shock absorbers at Roberto Nuti S.p.a.
