Roberto Nuti Spa recently made its first ever appearance at Automechanika Shanghai, a key automotive fair, held last 10th – 13th December. Our attendance there, essential to our success on the crucial emerging market of China, offered an excellent opportunity to meet distributors and potential customers from all over Asia. Attracting a staggering 4,618 exhibitors from 38 countries, this edition of the fair proved to be a record-breaker, making the Shanghai fair, following its enormous growth over the last 10 years, second only to the one in Frankfurt.
Jason Cao, Senior General Manager, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said “We are now the second biggest Automechanika show in the world. This year we have seen a 15 per cent increase in international exhibitors based on 523 international exhibitors in 2013 and 453 for our latest show. In terms of Chinese exhibitors, this year we have 4,095 which represents an increase of 12 percent matched against the 3,656 exhibitors for the 2012 show. The increased exhibitor number reflects the fact that the show is well recognised as an ideal marketing platform for new and existing business relationships.”
Automechanika Shanghai is a powerful business magnet throughout Asia and beyond, successfully attracting numerous industry operators from as far away as Australia, Africa, North and South America, as well as several European countries. “We’ve established a good number of contacts with spare parts dealers working with European-manufactured vehicles”, explains Javier Biasotti, overseas sales manager for Roberto Nuti Spa, “giving access to both potential Chinese customers and those from the Middle East and Europe”. Sabo products – the result of outstanding Italian know-how and built according to strict quality guidelines – generated keen interest among the visitors who flocked to the stand to find out more and establish business contacts with us.
The year 2013 also saw Roberto Nuti Spa attend Automechanika fairs in Dubai, Moscow and Shanghai. For 2014 we have already confirmed our presence at Dubai, from 3rd to 5th June.

In January, the fourth anniversary of SABO Hema Automotive Ltd, located in a Gurgaon, near New Delhi, India. It is a joint venture between Roberto Nuti Spa and the Indian group Hema Engineering Industries Ltd that was constituted with the aim of reaching higher levels of competitiveness on the international market. More particularly, the objective was to consolidate our group with a qualified presence in very important areas and with excellent prospects for the development of heavy transport, such as in India, Asia and the Middle East.
