The year 2016 is one packed with fairs for the Roberto Nuti Group: a series of not-to-be-missed opportunities to present Sabo brand products such as the outstanding air springs made by Sabo Suspension System. “The year 2016 is a big one from a trade fair standpoint” confirms general manager Massimo Nuti, “and we think it’s essential that we take part in these events. It’s a commitment we owe to both our customers and our market, given the growing interest in our brand, especially the Sabo Air Springs range”.

The first event of the year was at Inapa Jakarta, Indonesia, held from 29 March to 1 April. Here are a few photos from the fair with one of our foreign sales managers, Leonardo Borghi, pictured together with customers and Sabo sales reps.

A few days after this Far Eastern event the industry turned its attention to Istanbul, which from 7 to 10 April hosted Automechanika Istanbul. This Turkish fair attracted over one thousand exhibitors and 50,000 visitors from all over the globe. As the images show, the Roberto Nuti Group stand was visited by hundreds of people, all extremely interested in the air springs produced by Sabo Suspension System at its plant in Bursa, Turkey, in accordance with the quality standards for which the Sabo brand has always been highly renowned.

One month after the appointment in Turkey, our Group was again on show with its own stand at Automechanika Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from 8 to 10 May. This was a major event for the industry and the largest in the Middle Eastern sales area: it had 17 halls hosting exhibitors from over 60 countries and attracted 30,000 visitors.

At the end of the summer we’ll heading to what is the world’s biggest fair for our industry: Automechanika Frankfurt, which takes place every two years, will be held from 13 to 17 September in 2016.
“The Frankfurt fair”, explains Massimo Nuti, “is the appointment that we absolutely must not miss. It’s a unique opportunity to meet agents, sales people and distributors. The perfect place to show the public the very latest developments”. The extreme importance of Automechanika Frankfurt can be summed up with a few figures on this year’s edition: 4,660 companies from 74 countries and nearly 140,000 visitors from 176 countries.

And the year doesn’t end with the German fair. Another two events are scheduled for November and December with Automechanika Buenos Aires and Automechanika Shanghai.

“This will be our first appearance at the Buenos Aires fair”, explains Leonardo Borghi, “and it’s important to be there as we want to be ready should markets – as we all hope – bounce back following the recent political changes there. As regards Shanghai, this will be our fourth consecutive presence in an event that, from year to year, draws more and more visitors and not just from Far Eastern markets. In 2015 Automechanika Shanghai was already so successful that the fair had to move to the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the world’s largest trade fair facility. Through these events, then, the Roberto Nuti Group can approach far-off Asian and Latin American markets directly: such fairs are excellent tools both for promoting brands and finding new partners and distributors in these areas”.
